KPC executive council were elected unopposed during its election held at the DPDB Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Kohima on May 7.

Kohima, May 7 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) executive council were elected unopposed during its election held at the DPDB Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Kohima on May 7.
Alice Yhoshü, Asa Seyie, Atono Tsükrü Kense and Ozunglemba Jamir were re-elected as president, vice president, general secretary and joint secretary respectively while Menguzotuonuo Linyü was elected as the new treasurer.
Notably, all the posts to the KPC executive council were elected unopposed. The new KPC team shall hold office till 2025, stated a press release from the KPC.
In a brief programme following the election process, election certificates were handed over to the newly elected team by the KPC Election Commission 2022.
In her address, president re-elect Alice Yhoshü while thanking the members for their trust and support, assured that the new team shall strive in achieving greater heights for the club. “There are many responsibilities that lie ahead of us, but no task is impossible if we all work as a team. Therefore I, along with all my colleagues of the EC who have been re-elected and also the newly elected, solicit each member's continued support and cooperation as we march forward,” she said.
