Kiphire, October 21 (MExN): A group of 18 members under the name “Solace Team” from Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro on October 19 trekked to Mount Saramati, highest mountain peak in Nagaland under the theme “Trekking for Magnificent Creator”.
The team was led by Thsapichum, Home Evangelist and Menshethe, Deacon.
The team started from Kiphire on October 18 and reached Thanamir the next day. Church elders and Pastor of Thanamir Village welcomed the team and had a fellowship together, a press release from Horiba, Church Secretary, KTBL stated.
Along with two local guides and five labourers from Thanamir Village, the team started trekking the same day, reached the base camp in the evening and lodged there for the night.
The team had a fellowship and later laid one memorial stone in scripted with the word of God and the names of the trekking team.
