Kronu challenges Kuzhamis to work hard with dignity

Kuzhalhu Zawe today celebrated its Golden Jubilee at Pfutsero town under the theme “Sesomiso (Integrity).”
Nagaland’s Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs minister Neiba Kronu graced the celebration as the special guest.
While exhorting the gathering, Kronu acknowledged God for his blessings on the Kuzhami people and urged the people to be grateful to God. He also challenged the people to share the blessings with people all around and urged the people to remain united and embrace dignity of labor to move forward in life.
He spoke on how the world is changing very fast and challenged the Kuzhamis to work hard with dignity and move forward as a community.
Emphasizing on the importance of work culture, Kronu reminded the gathering that people who complain much over trivial issues cannot progress in life and urged them to learn to cooperate with each other and work together as a community.
Kronu also shared the developmental activities and urged the people to embrace development positively and not to politicize it.
Referring particularly to two-lane road projects in progress in Phek district, he reminded the people that such developmental activities would not come frequently. Kronu also made an appeal to the land owners to cooperate with the executing agency and urged them not to create complications.
Further, Kronu also shared his plan to promote tourism in the district in a big way and informed the people to prepare themselves to diligently host tourists.
Kronu also informed the people that the present government under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland is making best effort to resolve the Naga political issue.
Sharing greetings, MLA Kezhienyi Khalo appreciated the presence to Kuzhami leaders to celebrate the jubilee together.He urged upon the people to uphold honesty and integrity.
Rev Dr VK Nuh, chairperson, Naga Archive Research Centre released the Golden Jubilee souvenir along with a book titled ‘Medanism and Christianity’ authored by Dr Kewepfuzu Lohe.
He urged the Kuzhamis to uphold the values passed on by the elders.
K Therie, president Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee, Timikha Koza, president Tenyimi People Organization and Mikha Kenye, president Chakhesang Public Organization also delivered short speeches while Rev Zupelhi Mero, advisor, Pfutsero Town Baptist Church pronounced elderly blessings.
The programme was led by Neilo Khape, president Kuzhalhu Zawe while welcome address was delivered by Yetshülhi Ngatsi, vice president Kuzhalhu Zawe.
