Dimapur, February 14 (MExN): A five-day workshop on “Digital Salary / Tally Accounting Package” has commenced at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dimapur on February 13. Organised by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Tinsukia Region, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, the workshop will culminate on February 18.
The workshop was attended by Principals, Principals (In-Charge), office staff and officials from the regional office, with a total participation of around 94 members.
The programme was inaugurated by T Pritam Singh, Deputy Commissioner, KVS, Tinsukia Region. In his inaugural address, he said digitisation is one of the most significant initiatives undertaken by KVS in the field of education. He encouraged participants to thoroughly learn each step of the digitisation process to ensure that the salary portal functions efficiently and remains error-free in the future.
The workshop focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills in digital salary processing and the Tally accounting package to streamline administrative and financial operations within KVS institutions.
