Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): The Khetoi Village Union Dimapur (KVUD) on Tuesday condemned the alleged assault on one of its members in Purana Bazaar-B Dimapur on March 20.
According to the Union, the alleged attack and assault was committed by an ex GB of Padumpukhuri and his accomplices who ‘forcefully’ entered the residence and damaged property, assaulted the family and “tried to kill” the KVUD member.
“FIR is registered with East police Station Dimapur for proper measures but two culprits have availed anticipatory bail and other culprits are yet to be arrested,’ the KVUD said in a statement issued on March 23.
It appealed the Police, civil and judicial administrations, public organizations and individuals not to be lenient but to sternly penalize the culprits.
