KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 1 (MExN): The Labour Department, Nagaland, has invited applications and nominations from factories, construction establishments, MSMEs and other industrial units operating in the State for the State Safety Awards 2027.
The awards are proposed to recognise and encourage excellence in occupational safety, health and well-being and promote a strong safety culture across workplaces in Nagaland. According to the department, recognition will be given for exemplary safety practices, effective accident-prevention measures and sustained commitment to occupational safety and health.
The awards are also aimed at encouraging continuous improvement in safety management systems and acknowledging organisations contributing to safer and healthier workplaces.
