Mokokchung, August 23 (MExN): Indian Medical Association (IMA), Nagaland Chapter in Collaboration with Ao Baptist Church Council (ABAM) was organized Live Laparoscopic Surgical & Gynaecological workshop cum Continuing Medical Education (CME) from August 22 to 24 at Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH) and Impur Christian Hospital (ICH), Mokokchung. DIPR stated in a report that on August 22, opening programme was held at held at IMDH conference hall where the President of IMA, Nagaland Chapter, Dr. Kezevituo Keditsu gave the welcome address which was followed by presentation of Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy by Dr. Temsula Alinger, Laparoscopichysterectomy by Dr. Kezevituo Keditsu, guidelines of Safe Laparoscopy& Prevention of complications by Dr. Victo A. Wotsa. On August 23 and 24, live Laparoscopic Surgeries (to be relayed) will run concurrently at IMDH and ICH. The surgery to be done (subject to availability of cases) will be Lap Cholecystectomy, Lap Appendectomy, Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Lap Myomectomy, Lap Ovariotomy, and Lap Cystectomy.
