Latest results keep Nagaland’s COVID-19 free status intact

Kohima, May 24 (MExN): As of 3:00 pm on Sunday, a total of 1001 samples from Nagaland have tested negative for COVID-19. 1066 suspected samples have been sent for COVID testing from the state so far and results for 65 samples are awaited.  Meanwhile, 31 samples have been tested by Truenat, all of which have tested negative. 

 

104 reach Dimapur on Sunday
Meanwhile, a late update from the DIPR informed that a total of 104 returnees reached Dimapur on various means of transport on May 24. Out of these, a total of 68 returnees reached Dimapur from New Delhi and Dibrugarh by train, 15 arrived from Kolkata by bus and 12 returned from Madhya Pradesh by bus while 9 arrived from Madhya Pradesh by private vehicle. As per control room Dimapur a total of 3471 returnees reached Nagaland so far, the report stated.
