Members of the Leo Club of Dimapur with the kids at Ebenezer Orphanage to celebrate Childrens’ Day.
Wokha, November 18 (MExN): Members of Leo Club of Dimapur along with Leo Club of Gauhati Girls jointly celebrated Diwali and Children’s Day on November 15.
The former visited Ebenezer Orphanage where they distributed food boxes, which also included Diwali sweets to all the children and caretakers.
The members of LCD organised a cake cutting programme for the children in the orphanage to celebrate Children's Day. There were 30 children and 6 caretakers in the orphanage. They also lighted diyas in the orphanage and played games with the children.
Meanwhile the Leo Club of Gauhati Girls went to Snehalaya Boys Home at Dhirenpara. They distributed beanie caps, chocolates and food boxes to 45 people.
The project was headed by Megha Kundalia (LCGG) and Rishab Chhabra (LCD) under the leadership of Nehal Jain (LCGG) and Vishal Patni (LCD).
