Dimapur, March 3 (MExN): The Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) College concluded its special camp on March 2 at the adopted village of Murise village. Special camping is an integral part of the National Service Scheme (NSS), holding offering unique opportunities for group living, collective experience sharing, and constant interaction with the community, informs a press release from the college. The camp featured educational dialogues with the locals, exposure sessions between students and village elders, emphasising the importance of contributing to society, in line with the NSS motto "Not Me But You,” it said.
As part of the camp activities, the NSS unit facilitated the donation of food distribution and dustbins for twenty households in Murise village. Additionally, two large dustbins were provided for the church and village hall in Murise. NSS-related activities and morning exercises were conducted throughout the camp duration. On the last day, a special picnic and gathering were organised to commemorate the successful completion of the NSS camp.
