Dimapur, December 8 (MExN): The students of Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) took part in a nation-wide programme entitled “75 Lakh Postcard Campaign” organised by the Union Ministry of Communication, Department of Post in coordination with the Department of Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education.
The LFI students from Grade-IV to XII participated during the 1st phase of the campaign, which is ongoing from December 1 to December 20, a press release from the foundation informed.
“As a part of the campaign, the school procured 100 postcards from the postal department and the students wrote on the optional topics of ‘Unsung Heroes of Freedom Struggle’ and ‘My Vision for India in 2047,’ it said.
The postcards were addressed to the Prime Minister of India.
After a screening, 10 best entries were shortlisted as per direction from the Central Board of Secondary Education and then scanned and uploaded on the Board’s dedicated portal for the campaign, it added.
