Dimapur, March 25 (MExN): Based on a tip off, the Excise Mobile Squad duty party detailed at New Field Check gate intercepted an Imphal bound truck on March 20 and seized 250 cases of assorted liquor which were concealed with household items in the truck.
According to a press release from the Superintendent of Excise and Prohibition (MS) Dimapur, two persons identified as Warenpam Meitei and Muna Chongdang were arrested and booked under relevant sections of the NLTP Act. The seized articles are deposited in the Malkhana, the release added.
