KOHIMA, MAY 20 (MExN): The Power Department has informed that it is compelled to impose unscheduled load shedding in Kohima town and surrounding areas as the 24MVA, 132/33 kV Power Transformer at Kohima developed some technical problem on May 18. Presently, Kohima is now being catered by only 24 MVA, 132/33kV Transformer. The load shedding will continue till the transformer is rectified, the department informed, and asked the consumers to bear with the inconvenience.
