Kohima, August 9 (MExN): The Kohima District GB’s Association will hold its executive meeting alongwith the president and secretary of western, northern, southern Angami GBs Association and Kohima Town GB Union on August 10 at 10:00 AM in Tseminyu ADC Conference Hall. KPC informs
Kohima, August 9 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club will have its general body meeting on 10th August 10 at 2 p.m at KPC Conference Hall. In a release, KPC President K.V.Nurumi has asked all the members to attend the meeting positively. The release has further asked all members who have not renewed their membership fee, to do so before August 28 failing which they will not be allowed to participate in any of the KPC activities.
LDATU supports adhoc teachers
Dimapur, August 9 (MExN): The Longleng District Adhoc Teachers’ Union (LDATU) today stated that it stands in support of all the adhoc teachers. The Union president Vungmei said that the teachers have been giving their regular service for many years in their own capabilities and no matter in what kind of categories they are put in every teacher has a right to fight for their post.
Parade practice for I-day at Kohima
Kohima, August 9 (DIPR): All the contingents participating at the parade on Independence Day at Kohima have been informed that the practice session will start from August 8 and continue till August 13 at the Secretariat Plaza. The pick-up points for the participating contingents would be at the local ground, South Gate (near Post Office, Kohima) everyday at 7 a.m. from 8th August onwards. This was informed by SDO (C) Kohima, Wennyei Konyak.

Dimapur, August 9 (MExN): Rotary club of Dimapur invites application under its “SMILE- TRAIN PROGRAM” for treatment/surgery for persons born with cleft lips and palates defects. The patients will be sponsored by the club for free surgeries for the individuals ranging 3 months to 40 years. The surgery will be done free of cost. Nominal food expenses are to be borne by the individual. Individuals having such defects may kindly contact the President Rtn. Akokla Lucy or the club Director Community Service Rtn.
