MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro with others during a visit to Peducha Sub-Centre on January 22
Kohima, January 23 (MExN): MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro visited Peducha Sub-Centre at Peducha village in Kohima district on January 22 and distributed essential materials.
Interacting with the youth organisation, village elders, Panchayat members and staff during the visit, Nakhro said that it was an important collective responsibility to spread the message on good health care system.
Nakhro urged the village authority to monitor the functioning of the Sub-Centre and coordinate and cooperate with health personnel for its smooth and efficient functioning, thereby strengthening health care delivery system within the constituency.
Dokho Vielie, chairman of Peducha village mentioned that the Sub-Centre is functioning without compounder as of now. He also said that an ambulance is required to attend any emergency as the village lies on National Highway-29.
Earlier, the MLA also inspected various primary health care centres, Sub-Centers and Health & Wellness centres in rural areas under 8th Western Angami A/C and distributed essential materials.
