Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan on May 21 informed that, in view of the constant surge of COVID-19 cases in the district, the total lockdown order in Dimapur district issued on May 12 with all directives mentioned in the said order will continue to remain operative till May 31. Any person violating this order will be liable to be prosecuted against as per the relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act 2005, besides actions under Section 188 of IPC and other legal provisions as applicable, the DC’s order stated.
