Longleng, April 19 (MExN): National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC), CMO Longleng conducted awareness seminar for churches on malaria elimination at CMO office, Longleng on April 19.
The CMO Longleng in a press release stated that a brief introduction on malaria and its causes was given by Rongsentemsu, Malaria Inspector (NCVBDC) and A Nyumoi Phom, District Vector Borne Consultant presented on malaria elimination, ancient history of malaria, causes and its risk factors, preventive measures from malaria infections, testing of malaria, do's and don’ts. The seminar was attended by Pastors, associate women pastors, Christian educators, youth pastors, youth secretaries, church members from churches under Longleng district.
