Longleng UIP health workers receive refresher training

Longleng, November 27 (MExN): The Chief Medical Office (CMO) Longleng conducted one-day district level Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network (eVIN) refresher training for cold chain handlers, DEO and VCCM training at CMO conference hall on November 27. 

A press release from the CMO office stated that CMO Dr Obangjungla delivered the opening remarks and introduction to the participants which included cold chain handlers (CCH), DEO and Vaccine Logistics & Cold Chain Managers (VCCM) and staffs from CMO office.

Resource person Rajesh Monsang, Project Officer UNDP, reoriented the health workers on strengthening the universal immunization programme, UIP schedules, session sites, mobilization, UIP recording and reporting and eVIN registers and record keeping. He also spoke on the importance of cold chain managements, arrangement of ice packs in deep freezer and correct usage of cold box and vaccine carrier, vaccine logistics management, demonstration of eVIN AE app, order management and TL/asset management and field issues in eVIN and COWIN implementation, the release stated.
