Longleng, May 5 (MExN): The National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited B+ Grade to Yingli College, Longleng. The NAAC Peer Team visited Yingli College for the first cycle assessment on April 28 and 29.
‘The result of the Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) exercise of Yingli College, Longleng carried out by NAAC was declared on May 3, 2022. The college has been accredited at B+ Grade, valid for a period of 5 years,’ the college informed in a press release.
The NAAC Peer Team consisted of Prof Gangadhar Panda (Chairperson), Vice Chancellor Kolhan University Jharkhand, Prof Sanjeev Kumar H M (Coordinator Member), professor, Political Science, University of Delhi and Dr Manjushree Bobade (Member), Principal, Rayat Shikshan Sansthas Shripatrao Kadam Mahavidyalaya, Satara Maharashtra.
On day-one of the visit, presentations were given by the Principal, IQAC Coordinator and the HODs of departments. It was followed by onsite visit of college infrastructure, and meeting with cells and committees. The peer team interacted with college advisory board, state government representatives and university representatives. They also had meetings with the stakeholders, students, alumni, parents and administrative staff. The team visit culminated on the second day with the exit meeting followed by the handing over of the peer team report to the principal.
