Tuensang, December 21 (MExN): The platinum jubilee of Longra Baptist Church held at Longra village concluded on December 19 last. In the 1st service of the day, Rev Achu Chang, Executive Secretary, Chang Baptist Lashong Thangyen (CBLT) unveiled the monolith and released the peace flag to commemorate the jubilee.
The morning service was led by I Panger, Pastor, Keshai Baptist Church and L Atola. Bible reading and invocation was spoken by SB Chuba, Ex Pastor, Longra. Short speeches were delivered by President, Tuensang Village Citizen and E Koiba, GB Longra. Special numbers were performed by Jubilee Choir and Haüh Nao.
The message was delivered by Rev Achu Chang, Executive Secretary, CBLT. Benediction was spoken by Namang, Pastor, Litem Baptist Church.
In the evening service, the programme was led by I Dongetibou and I Sanen Chipen. Bible reading and invocation was spoken by L Chang, Associate Pastor Women, Nakshou Baptist Church. Short speeches were delivered by MT Meren, Hd GB Longra and Hd GB New Yaongyimti. Special numbers were performed by Salulamang Baptist Church, Jubilee Choir and Bright Morning Star Children’s Home, Kohima. A prayer for blessings was led by I. David, Missionary.
The message was delivered by Dr Y Alen, Pastor, Noksen Baptist Church while benediction was delivered by A Nükshu, Deacon. The closing of the jubilee was led by Longra Union, Dimapur and Noksen Bagpipe Band.
