Wokha, March 4 (MExN): A team of five members from the Department of Land Resources Wokha, led by District Project Officer, Tepunol Yore visited Phek and Kiphire districts from February 24 to 27.

In Phek, the team visited Chozuba village Coffee Plantation and Khuza village for different Livelihood and Micro-Enterprise activities. In Kiphire district, the team visited Sangtsoze village Coffee Plantation and Tethuyo village for various Cash crops farming, WHS, Check Dams and Irrigation Channel. 

Speaking during the visit, DPO Wokha emphasized on the importance of teamwork to achieve a common goal in the most effective and efficient way. He also encouraged the farming community to create unique identity through privilege serving to visitors with tea or coffee from their own kitchen garden, and also to make judicious use of the resources available from the department.

DPO Wokha and team acknowledged the successful implementation of projects at Phek and Kiphire districts and thanked DPO Phek, Levi Bennet and DPO Kiphire, Ahozhe Sema for making the inter- district exchange programme successful.
