Fire Personnel can be seen fighting fire at Arkong Ward, Mokokchung on December 15.
Mokokchung, December 16 (MExN): On receiving Fire call on December 15, the Fire and Emergency Services mobilized a quick response team from Fire Station Mokokchung to control the fire.
According to updates from Kenny Khing, RO (E) (F&ES), three Fire Tenders along with sufficient equipments and fire personnel were pressed into action. Property worth Rs 2.85 lakh was lost in the inferno that took the fire team 16 minutes to combat.
The release stated that the timely response from fire team, property worth Rs 2 crore could be salvaged and the fire was prevented from spreading. Cause of fire is suspected to be from leakage of LPG, it added.
The response team was led by Duty Commander ASI Meyilemba Jamir and ASI Libanthung Humtsoe.
