A forty year old man was arrested by the Kohima Police on Friday evening, August 3, on charges of rape. Police informed that the accused had allegedly raped a 24 year old woman, mother of two on August 2, Thursday at her residence. Official sources said that the victim owns a hotel and lives with her two children in the locality whereas her husband works in Assam. On receipt of a complaint lodged by a women organisation, police said that they have arrested the accused in August 4 and have initiated investigation on the crime.
