Minister for PHED Jacob Zhimomi being welcomed by Mapulumi Village members during the village adoption programme on April 21.
Zunheboto, April 22 (MExN): Mapulumi Village under 31AC Akuluto has been adopted by Minister for PHED Jacob Zhimomi.
According to a press release received here, the village has been adopted with the objective to work along with the community at the grass root level, and to ensure the path of progress and development for the village in line with the rest of the State.
Speaking at the Mapulumi Village Adoption programme on April 21, the Minister called upon the villagers and leaders to extend cooperation and support towards the policy of the government to ensure inclusive growth and progress.
Zhimomi lauded the works and initiatives undertaken by MLA and Advisor Kazheto Kinimi to bring development activities to the constituency and urged the villagers, area public leaders and civil societies to extend cooperation and support to the Advisor for all round progress and development.
While expressing his commitment to bring about development programmes to the village, he also cautioned against hampering the initiatives of the government by way of claiming land ownership compensations.
MLA and Advisor Kazheto Kinimi spoke on the initiative of the village adoption programme by the BJP legislators. He expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Minister for his concern towards Mapulumi Village under his constituency.
Kinimi assured to extend support and to work hand in hand with the Minister to ensure continued progress and development of the village.
Kinimi also highlighted the various development activities undertaken at 31AC Akuluto constituency. He also spoke on the various ongoing development projects aimed at helping the constituency and its people.
The Minister was accompanied by host of officers, District Administration Zunheboto, SP Zunheboto, ADC Akuluto, EAC Atoizu, Dobashis and GBs along with party officials and public leaders.
