Kohima, April 16 (MExN): SDO (C) Sechu Zubza, Tiayanger Jamir has informed the general public under its jurisdiction that COVID-19 appropriate behaviors, especially wearing of masks in public places is to be mandatorily observed by all in Sechu Zubza Sub-division.
The circular was issued in view of the surge in COVID- 19 cases all across the country including, Nagaland. The circular also stated that shops and business establishments, government offices, private offices and all educational and religious institutions in Sechu Zubza Sub-division have been instructed to strictly maintain practices such as keeping of sanitizers, distance practices, insisting on the wearing of masks compulsorily, etc.
Fines and penalties will be imposed on any person violating this circular as per the State government's order, it added.
