TaFMA in collaboration with Sennheiser conducted a Masterclass on Microphone Technology at Likya Community Hall, Wokha Town on April 24.

Wokha, April 24 (MExN): The Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, in collaboration with Sennheiser, conducted a Masterclass on Microphone Technology at Likya Community Hall, Wokha Town on April 24.
The programme was chaired by Mhademo Ennio, TaFMA District Partner and Coordinator for the event. A keynote address dwas elivered by Theja Meru, Chairman of TaFMA, who emphasized the importance of technical knowledge in enhancing sound production and performance quality.
Suman Thakur, Head-Technical Application Engineering, Sennheiser was the resource person. He conducted an insightful session on Microphone Techniques, focusing on the selection criteria according to application and the basics of RF wireless microphones.
Participants were guided through a detailed presentation and live demonstration, learning practical techniques for sound capture, mic placement, and effective use of microphones in various environments.
A total of 38 individuals, including musicians, sound technicians, and educators attended the session. The Masterclass was held under TaFMA’s Skilling Nagaland initiative.
