Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): Manik Bhattacharjee Foundation (M B Foundation), Dimapur organised a ‘felicitation-cum-Manik Bhattacharjee Award giving ceremony 2019 and 2020’ for the HSLC and HSSLC Toppers of 2019 and 2020 on November 7 at Pranab Jubilee Auditorium. The programme was held in commemoration of Manik Bhattacharjee’s 86th birth anniversary, the Foundation informed in a press release.
On the occasion, Manik Bhattacharjee Award was conferred to Wangshitemjen, Abhi Chakraborty, Imtijungla, Ananya Kumar Das, Suhana Begum, Anushka Bhattacharjee, Chumliba R, Ichha Upadhyay. Retired teacher N Datta was felicitated for his services rendered in molding the students for their successful career.
Charlie Sekhose, Senior Vice-President NDPP and Rtn Kitoshi Zhimomi, President Rotary Club Dimapur, graced the occasion as special guests.
Sekhose paid homage to late Manik Bhattacharjee and lauded the various activities of M B Foundation. He also encouraged the students to be the agents of change. Kitoshi Zhimomi appreciated the teaching faculties of the institution for their contribution towards the excellence of the students.
Monoj Bhattacharjee, Chief Organiser, M B Foundation delivered the introductory and welcome speech.
The programme was conducted by Rahul Bhattacharjee, Member M B Foundation while Ashok Kumar Ray, Vice-principal of PVHSS delivered the vote of thanks.
