Kohima, April 22 (MExN): The Department of Chemistry, Model Christian College (MCC) organized a one day National Webinar on April 17 under the topic ‘Multi-faceted Research in the Field of Chemistry’.
177 participants attended the webinar which included professors, academicians, students from reputed colleges and universities and also chemists from across the country.
Resource persons for the webinar were Dr Biswajit Saha, Scientist and Assistant Professor, AcSIR Advanced Materials Group Materials Science and Technology Division at CSIR- North East Institute of Science and technology Jorhat, Assam and Dr Chubaakum Pongener, Senior Research Associate at CSIR- North East Institute of Science and technology, Jorhat, Assam.
Dr Biswajit Saha spoke on the topic ‘Role of Two Metals in Catalysis’ and Dr Chubaakum Pongener on the topic ‘Green Bio-Adsorbent for Environmental Remediation-Activated carbon’.
The webinar was led by Tolivi Achumi, Assistant Professor and HoD of the Chemistry Department.
