Tuensang, March 17 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant has informed that the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has come into force with immediate effect throughout Tuensang district. The MCC is in accordance with the announcement of the Bye-election to the vacancy in the 51-Noksen assembly Constituency in Tuensang District, Nagaland by the Election Commission of India on March 16. Political parties, intending candidates, government/departments establishment and general public have been informed to take note of the same and adhere strictly to the MCC and extend cooperation to the District election machinery to ensure peaceful conduct of the said bye-election.
