DIMAPUR, MAY 11 (MExN): A coordination meeting of the Shamator District Disaster Management Committee was conducted concerning pre-monsoon preparedness on May 11 at Deputy Commissioner's office conference hall, Shamator.
Chairing the program, the DC, Shamator, Thuvisie Phoji briefed the members about pre-monsoon preparedness and to work as a team to handle any eventuality, more so, because government employees were fewer in number being a new district, a DIPR report stated.
The DC called upon the government employees posted in the district to re-dedicate and render their best service to the people of the district. He also said that all the departments and employees are equally responsible to serve the people of the district and for the uplift of the new district.
The meeting was attended by officials of various departments.
