Zunheboto, October 20 (MExN): Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation, G Kaito Aye unveiled the memorial plaque of General K Zuheto Swu Memorial Hall at Satakha town, Zunheboto on October 20.

Speaking at the inaugural, Minister Kaito said that for the outstanding contributions and selfless services rendered by Late Gen K Zuheto Swu KC, VSM, Retd DIG-BSF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector towards the welfare of Satakha people, the hall is being dedicated in his honour as Gen K Zuheto Swu Memorial Hall. The name of the Hall was endorsed by the Satakha Area GB Association in consultation with district administration, stated a DIPR report. 

Kaito said that it is his belief that Gen K Zuheto Swu’s good deeds and sacrifices will live in the hearts of the people. He requested the family of Gen K Zuheto Swu, for their continued support and participation, and in sharing the vision for building and developing a better Satakha. He added that the building was constructed under LADP Scheme, Iconic Project. 

ADC Zunheboto in his speech, appealed to the public to take care of the hall as it is a public property and is a blessing for the people of the area. He said that the hall will be under the supervision of the Satakha Administration and sought the cooperation from the public.

Khevili Z Swu, wife of Gen Zuheto Swu hoped that the hall will be a blessing for the people of the area and added that good deeds never go in vain.

Chaired by President NDPP 36A/C Satakha, Edward Muru, the programme was attended by District Administration of Zunheboto and Satakha, and public leaders. Dedicatory prayer for the hall was offered by Pastor, STBC (Nito Mount), Rev Kughato Chophy. Welcome address was delivered by SDO(C) Satakha.
