AAUD extend support

Dimapur, August 26 (MExN): The Aghünato Area Union Dimapur (AAUD) has stated that it is indeed a very critical job to be an administrator of such a multi ethnic, multi cultural and complex society, like Dimapur. Therefore it has urged the new Deputy Commissioner N. Hushili, IAS to be herself as always and stand firm against all odds as she starts to shoulder her new responsibility. The note further stated that N. Hushili, IAS who hails from Lukikhe and Shevishe Village, and who happens to be the first IAS from Aghünato area has assumed the responsibility of administration of this District. At the same time, the union also calls upon all the right thinking and sensible citizens of Dimapur to extend their whole-hearted cooperation to the new dispensation of the District Administration for the betterment of all of us. This was stated in a press note issued by Ahovi Zhimomi, Chairman, Aghünato Area Union Dimapur.

Indian Navy recruitment

Dimapur, August 26 (MExN): Indian Navy recruitment will be held at the Assam Rifles ground Kohima on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 for enrolment of male candidates from Nagaland State. A press note issued by Rajeev Dong, Wing Commander Retd, Deputy Director, Rajya Sainik Board informed that the necessary qualifications are: Class Six pass and for cook/steward (class ten) category candidates born between April 1, 1991 and March 31, 1995 (both dates inclusive). Also, for the post of Senior Secondary Sailor (Class Twelve, Science) category, candidates born between January 31, 1991 and 30 January 1995 (both dates inclusive). The note also mentioned that advertisement in detail shall be released next week. For further clarification and pre-recruitment training, candidates may contact nearest Zila Sainik Board and Directorate of Ex-servicemen Welfare, top floor, Old Secretariat Complex, opposite Congress Bhavan Kohima.

Xuivi Baptist Church dedication service

Dimapur, August 26 (MExN): The dedication service of Xuivi Baptist Church Platinum Jubilee Memorial building will be held on September 3, 2011 at Lhomithi Village, Dimapur at 9:00 am. Therefore, all the members of the planning committee, and all the in-laws are cordially invited to attend the service. This was informed in a press note issued by K. Hokaito Zhimomi, general secretary, Xuivi Union Dimapur.

Liangmai youth fest concludes

Kohima, August 26 (DIPR):  A music Festival Cum Coffee Nite organized by Liangmai Youth Department Kohima was held on 20th August 2011, at Liangmai Baptist Church Kohima D. Block, under the banner “Give Him back what He has given to you”. President Youth Endeavor, Athui and Kairinpibo gave encouraging words in the function and said that each youth has created for a purpose to glorify God through serving the society. God choice singing as one of the keys to worship Him, and to minister with one another, they said and exhorted the youth to worship and sing faithfully to be accepted by God.
