Project Director, DRDA Dimapur Kethosituo Sekhose inaugurated the village council hall cum multi-utility hall at Ghokito Village on April 27.
Dimapur, April 27 (MExN): Village Council Hall cum multi-utility hall constructed under MGNREGS at Ghokito village under Rural Development Block, Kuhuboto was inaugurated by Kethosituo Sekhose, Project Director, DRDA Dimapur on April 27.
Observing the department funded development activities in villages of Dimapur district, Sekhose said he was encouraged to see that villages are making lots of progress and assured that the department would continue to do the best of its part in the uplift of the villages.
Appreciating the warm reception accorded to him, Sekhose said promotion of cultural heritage at the grass root level must be given much importance, a press release received here stated.
The Project Director was accompanied by host of officials and staff from DRDA Dimapur.
Delivering a short speech, Phoishe Sema, BDO Kuhuboto dwelt on how the project was initiated and taken up and mentioned that Ghokito Village was one of the best performing VDSs under Kuhuboto Block.
Ihoshe Kiho, GB welcomed the dignitaries while Hotozhe Zhimo, pastor, NCRC Ghokito said the invocation prayer. The programme was chaired by James Zhimo, GB and Ahoshe Kiho, Chairman, village council proposed the vote of thanks.
