Kohima, November 13 (MExN): The Midland Panchayat Kohima will celebrate its golden jubilee on November 14 at 1:00 PM at its panchayat hall, Kohima.
Kovi Meyase, administrator Kohima Municipal Council will grace the occasion as the guest of honour.
Midland Panchayat general secretary Vihu Meyase will chair the function while welcome address will be delivered by Midland Panchayat chairman Visa Meru.
P. Atuo Mezhur, advisor, Midland Panchayat will also exhort the gathering.
Vote of thanks will be proposed by Midland Panchayat vice chairman Ngulho Mepfhü-o.
Meanwhile, the Midland Panchayat conveyed regret for its inability to invite all the residents in this celebration due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the SOP guidelines.
The Panchayat after thorough deliberation have decided to mark the celebration with only the committee members and organisations under the Midland Panchayat, it stated.
