Mokokchung, June 9 (MExN): The visitation of Health centres located in Angetyongpang Assembly Constituency by Tongpang Ozukum, Minister for PWD (Mechanical and Housing) and Chairman, Mokokchung DPDB, culminated on June 9.
The Minister visited all the health and wellness centres, sub centres and interacted with the staff to take stock of the preparedness for COVID-19 pandemic, as per a press release received here today. He also interacted with the respective task force teams of all villages and town units and distributed essential instruments and commodities to assist the task forces in their fight against the pandemic.
The Minister also visited the ongoing construction of EAC residence Chuchuyimlang town. He expressed satisfaction with the works done by the contractor though there was delay in funding and hoped that the concerned department will look into the matter so that the construction will finish on time.
Earlier, the minister had also visited the PSA oxygen plant at IMDH on June 6. He had also visited and inspected some locations near Mokokchung town as austerity measures in relation to COVID-19 preparedness in the district. The Minister also attended the Mokokchung District Task Force COVID-19 meeting held on June 7 in the capacity of DPDB Chairman and assured all possible help to the district task force from funds made available under DPDB Common Pool.
