KOHIMA, OCTOBER 18 (MExN): A two day virtual national conference under the theme ‘National Education Policy: Strategies, issues & Challenges’ was organized by the Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima from October 16 to 17.
All together, 24 papers were presented covering various important aspects of the policy such as early childhood care and education, teacher education, curriculum and pedagogy, vocational education, etc.
Dr KP Subha Rao inaugurated the conference. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the relevant issues and challenges at the various levels of education as perceived in the NEP 2020 and shared his inputs to help address the issues.
Pelee Hekha, Managing Director, MITE delivered the welcome address. The final day of the conference concluded with Dr Devanand Sinha, Principal, MITE addressing the valedictory session and vote of thanks.
