Mokokchung, September 21 (MExN): Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner Shashank Pratp Singh has written to the Urban Development and Municipal Affairs (UDMA) Department, drawing attention to the dilapidated condition of the Urban Development Department road from Police Point to Sewak Gate via IMDH Hospital, Mokokchung town. In a letter addressed to the Principal Secretary, UDMA, the DC stated that the dilapidated road condition is causing huge inconvenience to the patients and general public, and that various civil society organizations have raised the issue through print and social media platforms. He also said that the matter was also taken up by the District Planning and Development Board during its September 19 meeting. In this connection, he requested the Principal Secretary to take the matter up with utmost priority and immediately repair and restore the road.
