Mokokchung, June 3 (MExN): The Mokokchung District Task Force for COVID-19 following a meeting on June 3 has issued the following market regulations for strict enforcement from June 4 to 11.
• Only the mentioned shops will be allowed to open: Vegetables, fish/meat vendors, bakeries and grocery stores; Hardware, electrical and electronics shops and shops that sell animal feeds; Petrol Pumps/Fuel depots
• Shops will be allowed to open from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM with all the customers ensuring COVID-19 appropriate behaviour. Public are further advised to shop their essential needs from within their colony only.
• Pharmacies, Hospitals, Nursing Homes and other Health clinics will be allowed to be open 24/7
• Hotels for lodging will be allowed to remain open with minimum staff. Further, restaurants shall remain closed for in-house dining. They may however cater through home delivery services
• Food delivery, groceries delivery and other e-Commerce Service providers will be allowed.
The DC Mokokchung Limawabang Jamir stated that any person/group of persons acting in violation of this order will be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under Indian Penal Code, and relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act 2005 which will amount to punishment with imprisonment unto 2 years or fine or with both.
