Dimapur, October 7 (MExN): The Power Department has informed that continuous shutdown of 220kV D/C Mariani-Mokokchung Transmission Line has been scheduled from October 10 to 28 to enable swapping of lines and bay exchange for 220kV New Kohima-Mokokchung Line under NERSIP. In this connection, the Mokokchung Transmission Division has appealed to the consumers to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience that may arise during the shutdown period. Meanwhile, it informed that power supply to the Mokokchung Load Centre would be fed from Doyang Hydro Project via 132kV Mokokchung-Doyang Transmission line and from Likimro Hydro Project via 66kV Kiphire-Tuensang-Mokokchung Transmission Line.
