A press release from the organization stated that the Indo-Naga political has taken a heavy toll with “unaccounted death, pain and untold miseries.” “Blood, sweat and tears we have seen enough in defense of our historical and political rights,’ it stated.

The MKWO informed that it held a meeting on October 7 and unanimously resolved to support the Framework Agreement for “lasting peace and tranquility over Nagalim.” It further expressed support to the call for a Naga flag “without which we lose our political identity and Yehzabo (constotution) without which we lose our birth right.” It prayed for wisdom for the negotiators in the ongoing talks to bring and inclusive and peaceful settlement at the earliest.
