Kiphire, January 30 (MExN) “The only way in catapulting developmental activities is fostering civic responsibility and public cooperation while maintaining peace and prosperity,” stated MLA Pungro-Kiphire 60 AC, T Yangseo Sangtam while inaugurating Kizathsa colony under Jail ward, Kiphire town on January 28.
Speaking at the inaugural as special guest, the local MLA highlighted the importance of various responsibilities of the residents and leaders, and encouraged the ward authorities to abstain from any sort of anti-social activity that will hamper the peaceful atmosphere of Kiphire town. He also appealed the public to be more vigil in the upcoming census drive and to enrol themselves in Kiphire town as permanent residents. The MLA Pungro-Kiphire 60 AC media cell in a press release stated that Chairman Kizathsa colony Muricho, Justin Khatomong, HD GB Kiphire Town and 11 ward chairman also spoke on the occasion.
The MLA along with NGOs and other officials visited the temporary ITI Centre at Rest House ward and the ITI under construction site at Kiphire town.
