Kohima, March 19 (MExN): A one-day workshop cum mock drill on disaster management was conducted at Modern College, Kohima March 18.
Divided into two sessions, it featured an initial talk on disaster management by resource person Kevilhouthie Yhome , District Project Associate, DDMA Kohima and later a mock drill along with demonstration.
The drill and demonstration was conducted by Prem Kumar, Commander of Home Guards and Civil Defense and trainers from State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
Altogether 270 students and faculties took part in the workshop chaired by Asst. Professor Athiko and a welcome address by Dr Vitsou Yano, Principal, Modern College.
