
Mokokchung, October 2 (MExN): Central Nodal Officer for Mokokchung District, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW), New Delhi along with state Officials visited Mokokchung district on September 29 with an objective to uplift the performance of the district under ‘Mission Utkarsh.’
The officials from the Ministry held a meeting with district officials to discuss the key performance indicators at Conference hall, Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung under the chairmanship of Central Nodal Officer in charge of Mokokchung district, Hekali Zhimomi, Additional Secretary (MoH&FW), informed a press release.
Reena Hanodak, Assistant Secretary (MoH&FW), gave a presentation on the progress of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Mokokchung district. A detailed assessment of 9 KPI’s were made and suggestions given for improving the key indicators on Child and Maternal Health.
Issue based discussion were taken up. Development of time bound strategies, planning and monitoring of District Health Action Plan (DHAP), Convergence and coordination with allied departments and development partners, rationalization of human resource and regular review and monitoring of ongoing programmes and KPI’s: to be monitored closely by the District Health Society headed by the Deputy Commissioner of the District, the release stated.
Mokokchung district has progressed in the KPI’s since April 2022, the release stated without going into details.
After the meeting, the officials visited the Health and Wellness Cnetre, Mopungchuket.
