Mokokchung, October 13 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir has notified the demarcation of four locations in Mokokchung Town as ‘Sealed Areas,’ in view of the detection and confirmation of COVID-19 positive cases in the locations.
According to the order issued on October 13, the areas have been demarcated in order to contain the spread of infection and necessary contact tracing. The locations include two houses in Kichutip Ward, one house in Dilong Ward and two houses in Arkong Ward of Mokokchung town.
The order stated that all movement of persons/vehicles within the defined sealed area is strictly prohibited and under active surveillance with effect from the date of sealing.
