The Trail Hounds Cycling Club's 4th Mokokchung Mountain Bike Festival concluded at Ungma Village, Mokokchung which saw participants from Shillong, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Nagaland. 


The Mokokchung Xtreme Downhill category was flagged off by Imtitongba Tatar, who was the chief patron of the event. The Mokokchung Xtreme Downhill category was also the 2nd Stage of the first edition of the "King of the Hills" series initiated by the Nagaland Mountain Biking Association with the Kohima Xtreme Downhill as the Stage 1. 


Participants collect points at each stage and the “King of the Hills” title is awarded to the overall fastest rider, regardless of category, across both the races. The riders rode a total of 1.4 kms in the semi-urban track in two rounds.

3rd: Shalo Kent,Nagaland, 3:08:71 

 

Full Suspension:
1st: Ismamul Howk, Assam, 2:13:06
2nd: Benny Metha, Nagaland, 2:19:37
3rd: Taitus Ch Marak, Meghalaya, 2:53:47

 

Overall Winner - King of the Hills 2019 Title: Ismamul Howk, Assam
