Mokokchung, December 12 (MExN): In view of the 3rd Winter Night Carnival in Mokokchung town, the Superintendent of Police has issued an order notifying traffic diversions and regulations to be followed with effect from December 14 to 17, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
As per the order, there will be no entry from Main Police Point towards Post Office junction and all vehicles coming from Rotary junction towards main Police Point will be diverted from Post Office junction. Similarly, there will be no entry from upper Salangtem ward to main Police Point via Old Town Hall road. One-way entry will be maintained from main Police Point towards Old Town Hall Road, the order stated.
It further directed the in-charge, traffic cell, Mokokchung to deploy sufficient personnel at the relevant points for traffic regulation.
