Mon bids farewell to three officers

Dimapur, July 30 (DIPR): The people of Mon district bid adieu to Deputy Commissioner, Mon Dinesh Kumar IAS, SDO Civil, Hiazu Meru and SDO Civil, Mono Khiam at a farewell function held at DC Conferences hall, on July 29, 2011.
In his farewell speech, the outgoing DC lauded the people of Konyaks, the Konyak Union (KU), KNSK and the Konyak Students Union (KSU) for extending cooperation and assisting the district administration in maintaining peaceful law and order in the district during his tenure as DC, Mon. He said during his stay in Mon for the last three years and three months, the district administration have faced many challenged like Parliamentary Election, State Road show, Census 2011 & NPR and EPIC Campaign. All these challenges have been successfully resolved and implemented in a peaceful atmosphere because of the cooperation and support rendered by the NGOs of the district and Government Officers to the district administration and added that no officer can do wonders without the good support and team work of the subordinating officers and NGOs of the district. He called upon the Government officers the NGOs, the DBs & GBs and the Staffs of the DC office to keep up the same team work and extend the same cooperation and support to the new DC.
The outgoing SDO Civil, Hiazu Meru and M. Mono Khiam also lauded the NGOs of the district for rendering good assistances to the district administration. They also described the outgoing DC as man integrity, with firm in decision making and said that under his guidance many crucial issues have been resolved amicably in the district.
The ADC (Planning) Those Angami; the Deputy Commandant, VG Mon Chingshom; the Principal Konjong School, Nyamto; the President KNSK, Yumah; Manlip MTC; Wekong, Peshkar; The V/President KSU; P/A to DC Wangkam and EAC Tobu also spoke farewell speech and felicitated the outgoing officers. The speakers lauded the good initiative made by the out going district administrative officers in the field of development and upliftment of the district
 Earlier, the programme started with invocation by the District Chaplain and concluded with vote of thanks by Ilika Zhimomi, EAC development DC office Mon.
