Mon, May 23 (MExN): DC Mon, Thavaseelan K on May 22 issued an order reiterating that any individual or groups selling goods/essential commodities beyond the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) shall be penalised and their trade license confiscated. The order has been issued following reports of price hike being reported in Mon Town and other parts of the District, especially during the present lockdown, although measures to control the same had been initiated, a DIPR report stated. Further, the public have been requested to get receipt for all goods purchased.
