Mon, November 12 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS, has notified that some individuals are making use of the public ground at Zaklom Ward, Mon Town to learn/practice driving of motor vehicles and this, not only pose a potential hazard/risk to those, including children, who use the public ground for recreational activities but also damage the public ground particularly during the monsoon season.
In the light of above, the practice of motor vehicle driving lessons within the perimeter of the local ground shall be strictly prohibited with immediate effect. Any violation of this order shall invite penalties under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, the DC Mon stated.
Udyam Registration
Meanwhile, the DC Mon has also informed that any person intending to establish a Micro, Small or Medium Enterprise under Mon district is required to register online in the Udyam Registration Portal of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise, Government of India. The process of registration is free of cost.
