Mon, June 10 (MExN): The Mon Police on Wednesday, based on “specific inputs” apprehended one person namely Kumar Chatri for possession of 60 cases of IMFL (MC Rum) in a Bolero pick-up bearing registration number AS06 BC 8920. The accused was apprehended while he was proceeding from Sonari, Assam to Mon town. Along with the accused, the liquor and the vehicle have been seized, informed a press release from the PRO, Mon Police. In this connection, a case has been registered in Mon PS under NLTP Act. Further investigation is in progress in connection with the case, the PRO said.
